Andrea Cheong is the Anglo-Singaporean blogger of The Haute Heel. I like her style and her vision of trends. The photographies are always stunning and she's gorgeous!

Why have you started your blog?

I started it in the summer of 2011 when I was alone in Singapore trying to figure out how I could make a stable, significant place for fashion in my future. The Haute Heel may be a fashion blog, but it is my portfolio and personal project more than anything else.

Your first fashion memory.

I have all these funny photos of myself as a baby in crazy sunglasses and headbands, then when I was a toddler I always had my hair curled with a big blue bow in it ('A Little Princess' style).

Your favorite fashion designers.

Elie Saab, Valentino, J. Mendel, Ralph Lauren and Marchesa.

What is the piece of your closet that you never separate from it?

I wear a lot of the same piece over and over again especially when I first buy it, but I never take off my Dior rings- I have one that says 'Oui' and a little mimioui one. They are special to me because I bought them myself.

Your essential basic?

Beauty wise, eyebrows must be filled in! Also water is so important.

Your beauty routine?

I recently discovered Shu Uemera UV brightening mousse after my friends criticised me for not wearing primer, it is really amazing. I use YSL foundation with a brush and highlight my face for definition with Touche Eclat. I use Mac liquid eyeliner because that stuff is industrial and will not fade. As for mascara I'm currently using the Givenchy one with the ball brush in waterproof and glitter. I always have pink tinted lip balm with me. 

What are your shopping addresses to Paris, Seoul, London, NYC?

I like Paris more for its architecture and its food. I have never been to Korea, but as for Singapore I love Far East Plaza and Haji Lane. NYC has incredible department stores, but otherwise I love SoHo. In London, South Moulton Lane, Covent Garden, Harrods and the King's Road are the best! Mount Street is so beautiful too.

Your ideal fragrance.

I don't have a signature scent but I am quite attracted to either masculine musky scents like Comme des Garcons 'Standard' or feminine scents by Annick Goutal.

You have two minutes to get ready, what is your priority?

Eyebrows, eyelashes + YSL touche eclat! I think you can pull through a day in okay clothes if you have amazing hair and complexion.
